Downwind sailing offshore the portuguese coast for 700 Nm / optional small stop in Madeira / and then a short passage to Canarias (250 Nm).

Interesting passage around the Azores high pressure system, after the hurricanes season. Reaching in Horta (Faial) and/or Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel).

#3 Azores - Spain - 15 days - 1200 Nm ( 06 to 22 November) YMO*
Standard passage from Azores to Europe. Reaching in Muros (Galicia) or Avilès (Asturias).

We are here to help you to organize your skills into a coherent pattern, aiming for autonomy in ocean sailing.
We like sharing tips and sometimes knowledge ;)
We are not a sailing school, we do not delivering any diploma of any type.
We organise "RYA type" passages, compliant with YM Offshore and YM Ocean requirements. We have a Sextant on board that you can use, but you will have to bring your own sight reduction tables.
You are expected to be fully involved into every duties and activities onboard, accordingly to your abilities. We will of course support you in every aspects of life on a sailing boat at sea.
Contribution is asked, per leg and per crew member. It includes accommodation, food, fuel, satcoms and marina fees. For this period it is fixed to 2500€. Contact us for more details.

This is oceanic sailing, the routes are designed for fast and fun sailing, allowing us to use a large variety of sails and sailing techniques.
We will practise many actions and help you to improve in all the aspects of offshore sailing.
Contributions are set per trip and per crew member. It includes accommodation, food, fuel, satcoms and marina fees, as well as a fraction of the boat system's maintenance and improvements costs.

For offshore legs, you ideally will have spent at least few nights at sea, and have experienced some strong or heavy weather conditions for a significant amount of time.

For coastal legs/Islands hoping even few experienced sailors will be accepted.
Total crew will be 4-6 people for efficient and fast sailing and various training opportunities.

We will do celestial navigation training and practice.
We will go into every aspect of managing a boat and a crew when offshore over a long duration.
We will do several foresail changes, reefing, and flying spinnakers, trying to get the best from our boat.
Preferably no heavy smokers ; and of course no alcohol at sea, and no drugs at all aboard....
Sailing gears : it is important to have your own sailing gear, that fit you well, and are adapted to the actual area we are sailing. Pay attention to the comfort, the quality and the efficiency of your oilies and boots.
We only have a very limited spare jackets, pants and boots on board.
Remember, there is no bad weather, only bad gears !!!!

ON HOLD - Explore the East Greenland forbidden coast from Iceland
Autonomous coastal sailing along the Blosseville Coast, expeditions taking upon one week on the wild forbidden coast between Ammassalik Fjords and the Scoresby Sund:

and weather conditions in the E Greenland area in July.
In Greenland, we will be in total autonomy for the whole duration of the trip, as there are no harbours or towns on the Eastern Greenlandic coast. Having your own good quality gear and clothes is an important point to fully enjoy the voyage. This includes, of course, boots, shoes, and gloves.
For sailing into the fjords, and also for trekking, modern mountain clothing is fine.

Individual Life Jackets and Personal Locating Beacons are provided for the duration of each trip.
To secure your place on board, the payment process is as follows :
1. You are kindly asked to make a bank transfer or PayPal payment of 50% of the trip contribution at least three months before the fist leg's departure date. The balance has to be paid once on board (or even before if you prefer to) in Euros.
2. When applicable : kitty/daily fees are estimated per day ; this includes food, beverages, fuel and harbour fees.
The daily fees are adjusted at the end of each trip to match the exact expenses (if we have to consume more or less fuel, stay longer in a marina, etc…). We will refund you the excess, or ask for additional contributions.
The daily fees have to be paid in cash when boarding ; the currency depends on the area of sailing (Euros, GBP or US Dollars).
3. Refunds : We will refund the money if, for any reason, we have to cancel part or the whole of the trip.
NB : Meteorological/Ice conditions issues are not a relevant reason for giving a refund.
If you decide to cancel your trip, we will refund you the deposit up to 3 months prior to departure, 50% of it up to 2 month prior to departure.
We do not refund any travel tickets.
